In the event of contradictory decisions, the manuscript is sent to a third reviewer for the final decision on publication. The reviewers' decisions are binding.

Journal History
Dígitos. Revista de Comunicación Digital is a publication that focuses on studying the impact of digital technologies on communication in its various forms: media, messages, and audiences. Communication has undergone significant changes in recent decades, evolving rapidly in diverse scenarios and perspectives. It is also a process that not only has not concluded but encompasses more facets of communication and contemporary social dynamics. For this reason, we believe that a journal specifically centered on this field of work can contribute interesting proposals to the academic debate and establish connections, from our field, with related disciplines such as sociology, political science, law, economics, and linguistic and literary studies.
Dígitos is an annual journal affiliated with the Department of Language Theory and Communication Sciences at the University of Valencia. The languages used in the journal are Spanish, Catalan, English, and French. The publications bear a quality seal awarded through the blind peer review process.
