In the face of information overload, an increasing number of higher education institutions offering degrees in communication are focusing on teaching content related to disinformation and media literacy. Therefore, this text reviews research articles published in Spanish between 2014 and 2023. It compiles publications included in Dialnet, SCOPUS, and WOS to observe what types of proposals or activities have been carried out, in which types of journals they are included, what competencies are being promoted, and what evolution has been experienced from before the pandemic to the present.
